#Situations
This is a fictional discussion scenario set in Singapore. It involves a concertgoer, the performer, and the fans seated behind them.
The central problem is that the concertgoer records almost the entire show with a phone held above eye level. What nobody else knows is that the recording is intended for a relative who could not attend after falling ill. About S$1,200 is also at stake, and another fan confronts them while the headline performance is still happening.
Then it becomes clear that the venue rules allow short recordings but do not define how short. The difficult part is that preserving a meaningful memory can still spoil an expensive experience for everyone behind. The person at the centre has to decide before the situation becomes public.
