I hate posting about money because someone always decides you are cheap before they finish reading.

This started because the person asking for grace has asked too many times. I tried to keep it casual until people started acting like asking made me cheap. I was dealing with the client who keeps promising next Friday during a freelance payment delay. The overdue badge stayed orange. I know this is petty, but the petty part is also why I am posting.

Collecting enough to cover payroll. It made more sense in my head than it does written down. Their business is also struggling. My own contractor may not be paid on time. Now the group chat is about repayment, and someone is threatening small claims. I softened every invoice reminder.
