I moved one thing and somehow started a house meeting

I thought I was too tired to argue. Turns out I had a little more in me. This started when the loudest roommate is also the one behind on rent. I tried to keep it normal and failed.

This started when the loudest roommate is also the one behind on rent. I tried to keep it normal and failed. I was dealing with the roommate dating someone I dislike during lease renewal. The renewal PDF showed all our names. The annoying part is I can explain their side and still think they acted ridiculous.

Deciding based on housing rather than friendship. I did not say that part out loud. The partner may help cover the higher rent. Either choice changes the friendship. Now the lease feels like a scoreboard, and the security deposit is at risk. I asked about the partner before the rent increase.

Maybe I am using this to justify myself. Practical dependence makes boundaries negotiable.
