This started in a San Francisco product standup, and everyone got calm in the most suspicious way.

What happened was an ai reply promised something the company cannot honor. I asked one direct question and the answer made the whole thing worse. The whole mess started inside a moderation queue, and it involved a creator and users targeted by their post. Red notification badges filled the panel. People got very brave once the person with less power walked away.

Acting quickly without rewarding mass reports. That sounds cleaner than it felt while it was happening. The post used reclaimed language outsiders misread. Either decision becomes a screenshot. Now the transcript is in the workspace, and the admin is about to remove access for everyone. I counted reports before reading context.

Maybe I am using this to justify myself. Volume is evidence of attention, not automatically harm.
