My watch gave me a faster 5K time than the event results. Should I correct the personal best I posted?

I posted "Finally under 25!" with a screenshot showing 24:50. Three friends congratulated me before I checked the organiser's result page: 25:30.

I don't yet know why the watch summary and the event result differ. I was pleased with how I ran, and I wasn't trying to make the time look better. My friend says the post is about my own progress, so I should leave it. Our running chat, though, keeps a list of everyone's best event times, and someone has already added 24:50 beside my name.

Is a short correction enough, or should I remove the screenshot altogether? The awkward part is that I still want to celebrate the run. I just don't want a number I haven't understood to become the time everyone expects me to beat next month.

A small correction fits a small, honest mix-up: "Watch summary was 24:50; the event result is 25:30, so please use that for the event-time list. Still really pleased with the run." You don't have to erase the effort to fix the number.
